Evan & Cindy Parton
We have been members of GWRRA since 2001. During that time we have been Newsletter editor, Chapter Educator, Couple of the Year and Assistant Chapter Director. We ride "The Black Pearl" a 1999 Valkyrie Interstate. After being invited to a Chapter breakfast at the "Queens" home we joined L2 in 2006, and they haven't been able to run us off yet. Come see what the "Fun" part of the GWRRA motto is all about at our next gathering.

I have been a member of GWRRA since 2006 when I also joined L2. I have been riding motorcycles since I was 10 years old and I have ridden motorcycles in many states as well as on the Autobahn in Germany. I am glad that I found L2 because we all like to have fun and are interested riding as safe as possible. My daughter likes to go to our chapter gatherings on weekends when she is with me because she likes all the excitement and fun that we have at our chapter gatherings.

As the 2008 Couple of the Year for L2, we have found out that everything we have heard about this being the "Best position in GWRRA" has been 100% correct. We have met and made new friends with some of the best people in the world. We have had a blast representing "Lake Norman Wings" this year. Though we did not capture the Couples plaque on too many occasions, we sure had fun trying.

Mike & Teresa Harris
We were both born in Arkansas (no incest jokes please), moving to North Carolina in September 1989. We have been married 35 years with two daughters, Jennifer; 30, married to Bobby Evans (currently in Iraq) and Valerie; 28, married to Andy Smith (they are currently living in Edinburgh, Scotland). We purchased our first motorcycle over three years ago, the 2005 GoldWing trike and Mike just bought a 1999 Honda Valkyrie in February. We joined GWRRA in January of 2007 and have really enjoyed being part of NC-L2, just a great group of people. Life is now such an adventure on a GoldWing since we have traveled to various places in the US and also to Canada last year on a 4,200-mile roundtrip to Nova Scotia.

Gail and I joined GWRRA in 1990 after belonging to another Gold Wing organization for two prior years. My first Honda motorcycle was purchased in 1975, a 750 and later my Gold Wings have been one each of 1000, 1100, 1500 and now my 08 1800.
Taking pictures is a hobby that I enjoy in addition to riding. I take as many as possible with the hope that some are worth saving and enjoying.
